Since the spring, our hospital has been fighting to keep COVID-19 at bay and we hope you will consider becoming a Friend of the Fearless this summer by supporting The New York City MASK-A-THON. Throughout this pandemic, we have received tremendous support from our friends in the private sector who recognize and appreciate the extraordinary sacrifices being made by our city's fearless public hospital employees. Several organizations have provided goods and services directly to our frontline heroes, and we are eternally grateful.
Now, more than ever, we need to secure the tools that will help us reduce the spread of this terrible disease, and to date, face masks have proven to be our most effective tool. That's why we're asking our essential partners in the private sector to support the ambitious goal of The New York City MASK-A-THON to hand out one million free face masks to members of the public, and one million N95 masks to hospital employees.
Together, we can ensure that all New Yorkers have the tools they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.
